UNDER NEW LEADERSHIP

Once the HeMen alliance reached 1 Million points, the alliance creator and leader, Pannujunk, transferred leadership to myself, OkThisLooksBad on Oct 12th, 2015. This transition has been planned for the last few weeks, ever since Pannu received a promotion at work. Having less responsibility to us will allow him to achieve a better life balance, while still being one of our strongest contributors. While all transitions aren't perfectly easy, Pannu will be staying on as an officer until the team seems settled and ready to continue, just as strong as it was under his leadership.

What's Changing?
I will be working with our current officers to determine the best way to divide our time and responsibility. In the past, Pannu did most of the work and relied on his officers for education and AQ coordination. It's my goal to designate officers for the following roles:

CAO: Chief Alliance Officer - This position will focus primarily on Alliance Quest launches, coordination, and maintaining the treasury balance while assisting the other officers in their roles.

CIO: Chief Information Officer - This position will focus on answering general game FAQs from alliance members, visiting the Kabam forums for announcements and relaying that information to our group, as well as researching the "Easy 4 Star" opponents for duel events while also assisting the other officers in their roles.

CRO: Chief Recruiting Officer - For now, this officer will assist myself in making sure new alliance members meet our minimum qualifications and kicking out those who don't, or who don't contribute immediately (after being warned of that requirement first, of course) and being the welcome wagon for new members. Eventually, when we are stronger, we will close the alliance to invite only, at which time this officer role will be entirely focused on recruitment, with assistance from the leader, officers, and other alliance members.


Soon, I will begin putting in place event minimums. At this time, we only have strict participation requirements for Duels, and 1 Million+ point alliances should start to be more accountable in more facets of the game. Stay tuned for these announcements in the coming weeks.

What's Staying the Same?

Our commitment to maintaining a good life balance. If you have a tough week of work coming up, are sick, tests at school, or a family issue to attend to, please notify an officer through direct message and no lack of participation will in any way affect your standing in the alliance. Communication of pending inactivity will guarantee your spot is saved and it will help us plan for picking up the slack of any members who are absent.

One day, Kabam will shut down these servers and none of what we are doing will matter. It's fun while it lasts, but make sure you are nurturing your relationships and staying on top of your work activities in the real world first.
