Well guys, I'm sorry to say the time has come.
It's been a pleasure playing in this alliance with you guys for the last 14 months, but it's time to move on. This game was a ton of fun and I don't regret it one bit. I'm just not as interested in playing anymore and am ready to pursue other interests.
It's crazy how you can make friendships with anonymous, in-game names, isn't it? I'll miss you guys. Checking in, strategizing with you, and going back and forth with funny comments and shit talk every day. I wish you all nothing but the best.
Marlboro will be assuming leadership duties. When I took over from Pannu, I relied on my officers a lot, so you guys need to step of for him in this transition. Don't forget what the alliance is about! Promote a work life balance, save people's spots when they leave, and on occasion, take chances on low ranked guys that are hungry to get better (it's easy to forget that Panda and Irfan were exceptions at one point, now they're our strongest guys!).
Good job on the insane amount of growth. I expect things will continue to go well at the HeMen alliance for as long as the game is on!

ALLIANCE QUEST STRATEGY FOR THE HEMEN ALLIANCE
Our Strategy:
For Map 5, the following team is assigned to BG1
Battlegroup 2 now has an assigned team
For BG2 route assignments, please go to http://coc.frogspawn.de/aq/c/573c8ed4bcc44
The first two sections before the Unstoppable Colossus mini-bosses have assignments, but you'll notice there are no assignments for the last section. I'd prefer us to talk our way through it, in case some guys are hurting by the then.
If you don't see a route highlighted for you, that means you are assisting in that section. DO NOT MOVE until instructed to do so.
If you are not one of the 10 names listed above, DO NOT JOIN BATTLE GROUP 1!!!
For Map 3, we have enough skilled members to not require assignments. Just keep talking in game.

GENERAL AQ STRATEGY AND TIPS
Class Advantage: A class advantage means that some champions have enhanced PI and strength against classes of other champions. Mutants have advantages over Skill, who have advantages over Science, who have advantages over Mytics, who have Advantages over Cosmic, who have advantages over Tech. The circle is completed by giving Techs an advantage over Mutants. This must ABSOLUTELY be kept in mind when planning an AQ route.
Nodes: In AQs, some opponents have node buffs. This means that an opponent is providing a strength or protective enhancement over another opponent. Waiting for the enhancement-providing opponent to be defeated will make battling the other opponent much, much easier.
If you come across an opponent that is highlighted in a light PURPLE aura, wait for the node to first be removed before engaging. You will take unnecessary damage and put our team at risk. Just don't do it!
Dexterity: Get this mastery! If you do not have Dexterity you are doing yourself and this alliance a disservice. It is easily the most important mastery to have and vital for good AQ performance.
As always, feel free to ask OkThisLooksBad or Felicks for guidance on AQs

INFINITE STREAK IN ARENAS
Here is the DEFINITIVE guide to achieving an "Infinite Streak" in Arenas.
Fights 1-8: Easy, use any team you would like for these fights
Fight 9-15: Sandbag! What does "Sandbag" mean? It means your team should have 1 really weak member. Opponents are based off of your average PI, so having 1 really terrible team member means having an easy way of winning 2 out of 3 fights, thus extending your streak.
Fight 16-18: Keep your team PI above 5500 and your opponents will be the Easy "Kang's Team" or "Thanos Team."
Fights 19 and on, if your PI is above 4000, you will continue to fight nothing but easy opponents and maintain the 3X points multiplier. At this point you're only limited by time and your number of champs.
Learning how to obtain the "Infinite Streak" is the difference between a high win streak of 15 and 500.
NOTE: If you use a team of three 4/40 4-Stars at fight 9 and on (using refreshes or if you have an awesome roster, you can bypass the sandbag steps. Most people don't have the roster or will to spend units to do this though.)

CIVIL WAR ALLIANCE ARENA EVENT
Quick tip
Keep all 3 members of each Arena fight from the same team! Use this picture as a guide.
For example: make a team with Cap, Winter Soldier, and Star Lord (all team Blue) or a team of Black Panther, Hulkbuster, and Ultron (all team Iron)
Keeping your arena teams with characters from the same team appear to increase the likelihood of fighting either the Blue or Iron teams that are worth 10 TIMES the points!

ALLIANCE WARS STRATEGY
Our Alliance has officially begun participation in the Alliance Wars!! Like AQs, we need a strategy.
OFFENSIVE STRATEGY
Basically, the same as AQs. Take your top team of 3, and utilize synergies (especially for Perfect Block teams)
DEFENSIVE STRATEGY
Defense is a little more involved. There are 3 groups of 10 summoners, and each summoner will select 5 champions (you can't select champions that you are using for offense) and place them along a set Map. To see what that map looks like, and where each node is, visit this link:
http://coc.frogspawn.de/aw/56d9e6a14cb4e
Sometime after selecting your 5, the 24 hour "Defensive Placement" window begins. While I intend to review maps and move players around if needed, it would be helpful if everyone understands how to best optimize the nodes.
For example: If a node says the champion "Saves until their Special 3" don't put in someone like Daredevil or Gamora who have weak L3 specials in comparison to their 1s and 2s. Ideally, we want Dr. Strange here because he has power gain and a strong L3. Duped Thor or Duped Storm are also good choices.
Another example: If a node increases bleed damage, don't set a champion there that doesn't have bleed effects.
Feel free to place your what you think are ideal spots. Officers will review maps and make changes as needed. PLACE YOUR CHAMPS IN THE BEST AVAILABLE NODES AND LEAVE! DO NOT COME BACK AND ADJUST THE MAP WITHOUT TALKING TO AN OFFICER FIRST!
Again, this is to be a collaboration. While I'm happy to lead the way on this, I don't want to forever. The goal is to be an autonomous group like we are in AQs.

OkThisLooksBad's Guide to The Realm of Legends
First things first, when I beat it, I used 21 revives and about 100 potions. Since I had about 50 revives, I played sloppy in a couple fights, and if you're taking it seriously the whole way through and have no work, travel, or family distractions (like I do), you shouldn't need more than 10 revives.
At the time I had dexterity for evading, but not parry. Looking back, I wish I did, particularly for Juggernaut. The only thing I'd change about my mastery setup would have been to get Parry and Stupefy.
KABAM HATES HIM!! WITH THIS ONE WEIRD TRICK.... my mastery "trick" was to use the Courage mastery for an attack boost. Having the Courage mastery means that you receive a 20% attack boost when you are below 50% health. Whenever I revived my 4* Dr. Strange, I never revived him past 50% so I would start every match with the attack boost, and then use his life steal buff to regen the rest of his HP.
The same logic applies if you're going the Star-Lord route. This method requires streaks without getting hit anyways, so might as well go in with less than half of your HP and make your streak shorter with a 20% attack boost. This method is far superior than any of the other advanced masteries like DE or LC, with the added benefit of not needing Recoil (If you have Recoil, don't you dare do RoL with it on! Reset your masteries if you do). DE and LC can also totally screw you over against Scarlet Witch who sometimes procs heal block. It's not worth it. Just use Courage for an attack boost.
My Team: The "Perfect Block" Team of 4* and 3* Dr. Strange (both duped), 3* Scarlet Witch, 3* Star-lord, and 2* Guillotine.
WINTER SOLDIER: I defeated him in 431 hits with my 3* Star Lord
CAPTAIN MARVEL: Went with the class advantage with Dr. Strange and beat her in 885 hits, taking only 7 and using no revives.
If you can't beat WS and CM without revives, you're not ready to continue yet.
JUGGERNAUT: The game crashed when I was 75% of the way done using Dr. Strange with no revives. Truly the match of my life and I was in the zone... sigh... Anyways, after starting completely over the second time around, I beat him with 3 revives (unfortunately, no hit stats as I was pretty pissed about the mishap and just didn't care to write them down).
It's hard to describe just how difficult Juggernaut is. His animations are tricky and it's very easy to think he's about to use an L1 when he's actually doing a heavy attack. Oftentimes you end up dodging and taking the second hit of his L1, or you block and get pummeled by his heavy attack. Concentration for this must be absolutely on point. I don't think I got a hit streak over 50 and most were in the 20s while I worked the Life Steal buff like crazy to keep my head above water.
The Star-Lord method just won't be viable here. If you only have SL, then my suggestion is to push him back as much as you can while he's blocking, parry his Unstoppable attacks, and only save up for SL's Special3. You will need all the space you can get and his third special is the only one that pushes him clear across the map.
Dr. Strange duped is ideal since his power gains automatically, and his third special pushes Juggs across the map and as an added bonus, the fate seal keeps Unstoppable from triggering if Juggs decides to use it right after the hit. His duped "counterspell" ability will take away the Unstoppable attacks some of the time, which is very helpful.
RHINO: 1593 hits, taking 45 hits and 6 revives. SUMMONERS BEWARE of the Juggernaut hangover. Rhino is difficult in that he is sooooo easy and takes soooo long. He lulls you to sleep, hits like a flower, and if you're using a Dr. Strange, you figure it's ok to be sloppy. It's not. I ended up using 6 revives here and am really embarrassed about it.
STORM: 722 hits, 29 hits received and 2 revives. I tried out Star-Lord and got a 161 hit combo in before dying in a couple of hits, and then revived him twice dying very quickly both times. Since my concentration was clearly shot, I stuck with Dr. Strange the rest of the way.
VISION: 898 hits, 21 hits taken, no revives. Super easy and his heavy is crazy obvious.
BLACK PANTHER: 1044 hits, 26 taken, 2 revives. I wouldn't recommend trying to hit him after his L2 on a full meter. Twice he killed me by stringing his L1 immediately after and my dash whiffed. It almost seems buggy in how seamless it is and how it doesn't let any attack through.
SCARLET WITCH: 1104 hits, 24 received, 1 revive. She's really easy. Sometimes poisons stack on heal block and there's nothing you can do. Don't be discouraged.

WOLVERINE: I started with 2* Guillotine (unduped) and got her L2 to work on the first try. She dealt him 160K in damage when the effect ended and I let her die. Using Dr. Strange's L3 and striking during most fate-seals, I got him down to about 20% health in 137 hits and taking 4.
At this time, I purposefully ended the fight to leave and catch my bus. I didn't want the switch from wifi to LTE cause a crash and lose my progress. Took another 15 minutes or so to get that last 20%. Unfortunately, I didn't document the total hits.
She is capable of defeating him herself, even though I chose to play it safe. Here's how - Start the fight by beating on Wolverine and dodging all his attacks (even on a Perfect Block team, she still takes some damage on blocks). Once her power bar is nearly completely full, hit him with an L2. This will proc a negative status on Wolverine that turns all healing into damage. Immediately start wailing on him. The goal is to stack as many regens on him as possible and hitting him with another L2 as quickly as possible (this is why you want to wait until the 3rd power bar is almost full the first time around. Otherwise, you won't have enough time to get off another L2 before the spell runs out and he starts healing again).
The best way to hit him with an L2 is immediately after a medium attack and three light attacks.
Here's a decent example of how it should work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFbA_BYVff4
BLACK BOLT: With about 20 revives left, I just didn't care and wanted to beat him as quick as possible. It took me 4 revives and under 200 hits total using Dr. Strange.
HULK: I loved this fight! He is really aggressive and his heavy is super obvious so it goes very quickly. He allows for a lot of hits in a short amount of time. It took maybe 20 minutes and 560 hits with Dr. Strange. I needed two revives for him, because like Black Bolt, I was playing fast.

SUMMONER ADVANCEMENT EVENT STATUS - SAVE EVERYTHING!!!
For the CURRENT "Summoner Advancement" ending 3/3 at 12:00PM PST
WE ARE IN AN "OFF" WEEK. DO NOT OPEN ANY CRYSTALS, DO NOT RANK UP ANY CHAMPION, DO NOT LEVEL UP ANY CHAMPION.
WHY THE "ON/OFF" SCHEDULE? Our Alliance Prestige Rating has gone up and that means the rank reward threshold has increased.
SPECIAL NOTE: This should be our last week of having restrictions. It appears we have grown enough to achieve rank rewards each week, but we are doing this for one more week to be sure.
